We do get told about the fuck ups our military make, quite often, and they are pretty open about it most of the time, granted, some things are probably hidden and never reported, but as a whole we do here about them.

Basing a military on funds and so on is completly bullshit. The first 5, except france, are and should be in the top 15, as for the others.. there are much stronger armies that are not in the top 15.. Iran, Israel.. both of them are stronger than saudi arabia and india and all of those.

Even if United States' military is claimed to be the best or not the best, everybody has to take account of ordinary citizens (up to 100million) armed by the 2nd Amendment.

Other countries may include a law where citizens are able to purchase weapons, others are given after mandatory military service at 18 years old(?).

Just because a government spends shitloads of cash on their military and equipment, doesn't mean it's per definition ''the best'' military force.

One experienced soldier against 15 unexperienced soldiers... The outcome is never sure.
