Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Where are the United Nations, America and all other countries jumping on North Korea for doing the same thing ?

This, I'm slightly surprised about.

It's possibly because it was part of the commonwealth, making it a trusted nation.

In my opinion, ofcourse.

I would say that is hypocrisy at best.

Try looking at India's history, its probably the most peaceful country in the world(on the international level..). most minds are  dominated by Gandhi. It even worked its place in ranks of UN for representing peace, and all of its decisions are in the favor of peace.

even if India wanted to do damage, who exactly would it have to hurt?Other than defend itself from Pakistan and China, who constantly intrude into Indian territory and attack.
India is simply trying to fortify itself from China, whose history if you would check then India is at a great risk from, seeing that China has made over 20 moves on Indian territory in the last DECADE.

UN doesnt mind it because of them dont like China, so if China invades India and india attacks back with this missle, its in their favor.
I dont mind India making this(and dont let me being Indian cloud that). Wont you try to make similiar things to demonstrate power against China, if its showing all signs of a future invasion? Its just trying to fortify and scare china away.

Nobody gave a shit when China forcefully took away a part of India claiming that their people liked it religiously, nobody cared when China illegally increased its border 20 times, nobody cares that China is building alot of troop bases and airports on the Indian border, Nobody cares that the chinease enter and exit India with no problem. I doubt they will have a problem at this either.India isnt weak, ever since the british i doubt any society in the world would even think of any defense than the best, especially since China won a previous invasion.

Probably they do not want a situation where India would tell them, "You broke your promise for ___ aid, we break our promise about the agreement. And you are responsiible for all what is gonna happen" - because the launch was successful

Lets make it clear I do not object to India developing this. And neither do I object to North Korea or any other country.
My objection is that when a nation is considered friendly with the USA, they can develop whatever they want. But if considered as unfriendly, a major row is created over anything that might weaken the ability of US to overpower them.

India and USA are not really friends, considering USA helps a major enemy of India, tho most of us know who that is, I won't mention it here since we're a happy and friendly community.  ;) Unlike most countries , arms in India's hands are more of a show off. We have barely ever used them, even when India gained its freedom, We didn't use any missiles or heck even any swords. lol We had Gandhi to lead us and we gained it peacefully. India  is the land of Gandhi and Mother Teresa. We adapt peace even when we shouldn't. (referring to the recent terrorist attacks on Mumbai, in which some 500+ people were killed by some 10 terrorists.)

India is not on US's side at all actually.
Matter of fact ever since the cold war India initiated non alignment movement, which got the support of over 50+ nations, and still continues to maintain neutrality against superpowers. If anything India's actions have caused losses to the US for possible supporters.

And you can refer to matt's post, During the 3 wars(4 if you count kargil) India had the chance to blow pakistan to pieces, it could of even nuked it in kargil if it wanted. Yet the most lethal weapon used in the wars were outdated tanks..

Stop the f**king politics and war stuff. It ain't about wars between India and Pakistan. You are just provoking an argument between Indian and Pakistani players. They are members of Argonath as well, so stop it, really.

If they cannot take criticism given and take part in a normal discussion and debate then they should stay clear of this board...

My loyalties do not lie with the server, players or game, no. They lie with the two men who built and sustain this community, for without them, there is no Argonath RPG

This board has not been created to discuss politics. The politics board we had was for this stuff, you sure know about it. This topic is not to discuss that if we could have blown up Pakistan into pieces or not, its about Agni V test. Rules tell that there should not be direct or indirect disrespect.

P.S. Hey Dave. :)

Well I hope nobody tells the US that India is not on their side... :D
Probably Great-Britain still has a soft spot for them, even if India threw them out.  ;)
