lifestyle in India is shit compared to any country in the world, even ones like libya.

just try going on the road for a average drive and not facing with a single condition where you either break traffic rules or get f**ked.

everyone cares for his own shit in here, yeah...

im gonna dump this lifestyle the first chance i get
Its not that bad unless you live in a village with no fans and stuff. lol

Being the 7th largest nation in landmass and 2nd in population it can't be that  bad. If you think India's lifestyle is worth shit, you have seen nothing yet.
I have not visited anywhere else but Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Punjab and Rajasthan. I'm not sure how life is in the south or the middle, but living standards are greatest in the world in the North.
To shorten up, Chandigarh(Punjab) and Delhi have been picked several times by different surveys to be the best places to live in the world.

I'm not sure if you classify the lifestyle of a city by how much the people go out , but standards of living are very high in the two cities I mentioned. Whenever I go out there's too much traffic to even break a traffic rule most of the time.  But when I go for morning walk, I notice many sports cars, convertibles and luxury cars like Jaguar and Land Rover more than anywhere else in Asia. Tho if anything, living is the most expensive, The cost of an apartment can be compared to the cost of a well built 5 bedroom house in USA, and even that in cities like New York and even still the American house stands cheaper.

India has famine.
I think you misunderstood India with an african nation.

I travelled to Mumbai a few years ago and the living conditions there are VERY VERY low compared to western society. People live in poverty and a large portion of the population lives in slums... idk where your getting your information from but India has a very LOW quality of life compared to the rest of the world....

That's very very true, Some 9% of India suffers from extreme poverty and food for them is what they can earn each day or nothing at all.

As I said, I've never been to the Southern part, The info I stated is from what I see around, Maybe its just the capital and northern part which has high standards of living? Look up Delhi really, Maybe watch the half marathon this year on TV or Youtube an old one, You'll get to notice some.

This is what I felt, when I left for Oman...Then something happens and the only thing you wanna do is get back home.

I love my country. It is the best place in the whole god damn world. India is not perfect, I will be the first to admit it. But it is my homeland, MY country. Just as any other patriotic citizen would feel about his country..

Additionally, I wonder why people go to Mumbai and base India on what they see there. Mumbai is a big city, featured as a 'mega city' on Nat Geo or so, but it is not at all representative of India. If anything, India has a huge level of diversity between states, even within states. Travel south to Bangalore or Chennai or Cochin, head north to Delhi, Chandigarh or Agra or the Himalayas and east to Calcutta & North eastern states...then you can say that you have seen India

You can't just base a location that if you see poverty & bad conditions, then you assume it's the same for the rest.

It's like trying to compare Compton with Beverly Hills in Los Angeles

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Going to be honest Cutt3r, I hate India too. Ever since 10th Grade I started to hate it even more, to the point where I'd go out of here asap. And also to the point of seeing this place as Arkham, India had no hope left just like Arkham in Batman, due to the corruption and selfishness of people. But its the people I hate, not the soil I was born in, India is a great country, and one should be proud of it. But its the people who make a nation what it is and decide its future, currently, that just doesn't look so good for us.

However, I try not to give a fuck about the nation , why, explained above. I love my city to bits. I love Delhi, There can't be a better place than this. It has all the greenery and fresh air as well as up to date with technology and everything. I'll post a few pics of my school as soon as I find them to show what I'm generally talking of.

So yeah Mr. Canada, you take your wonderful trip to Mumbai and make your whole opinion of India based on it?

I'd call India's lifestyle different than that of the West, and if anything the Indians should be proud of having their own lifestyle.

Because after all India has only 35 million inhabitants and overall making it a very very easy to manage country yes?

India, just like China, have problems like any country on similar conditions... But the fact that they have much bigger populations makes people think that the scale of the problems is disproportional. Untrue.

Why are you not having the same migrations like China?
Not that I like that,I mean they infected every possible part of the world,in almost every town that counts more then say 50,000 you are bound to have a couple of percent of China-men.
I mean you're numbers are going up rapidly and jet you still keep  you're population, more or less, inside you're boundaries.I'm confused how you still manage, since you're one of the largest population stuck in one peace of land.
Its not that bad unless you live in a village with no fans and stuff. lol
I think living in the village would just do the trick, because of the whole rush hours  in the city you people have.
You might not have satellite TV or some mad internet, but that doesn't mean that you can have a descent and happy life.

Errm, Might not have satellite TV?

http://www.videocond2h.com/WSC/products.aspx
Satellite HD - DVR along with Platinum HD pack (450+ channels) is what I personally use.

Tho I agree on the part about internet. Its sad that India is progressing so fast yet our Internet is slower than a turtle. This is my personal speed, just barely 4MBPS, and yet its faster than 90% of India.

:ps: Took this on my phone, using 3G.

According to Wikipedia (I know), over half of India's population lives on less than 2 USD per day. That's fucked up, and it's not just because of the huge population.

2 usd?The indian poverty line is 5 dollars a Month, and more than half dont meet that, wikipedia is way off.

India fun fact 101: Before the british invasions, the countries of India together had more money than the rest of the world COMBINED.
Every place was loaded, you even built a tiny temple the size of a apartment, the next day there would be enough gold to buy a mansion donated in it.(If it is built by the 'brahmin' caste that is.
