It's not as bad as people make it out to be, especially in movies, but California actually has very strict gun laws, which is why it's difficult for most people to carry them legally themselves. The Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento County Sheriff's Department are both starting to be a bit more lenient with issuing CCW permits, though.

Gun control laws will make crime rates skyrocket, not drop. The Federal Government is secretly trying to pass a shitload of laws just to make owning a gun legally very hard, despite the 2nd Amendment, and fuels the underground black market for people to illegally obtain a gun & use it in crimes and leaving honest citizens with no means to protect themselves.

It is literally impossible to ban weapons all together.

If the Founding Fathers saw the condition of the politicians, congress, and government today, I can bet at least one of them will commit suicide.

Knowing how bad things are now compared to how they felt they were in England in the 1600's and 1700's, I think they'd encourage everyone to commit suicide along with them.
