Restriction of money transfers for non-passport players

Howdy!

I know this has been already suggested, accepted, and scripted. But for some reasons it was removed after few days of it's release.

I simply find this a useful way to prevent players from scamming newcommers.
Newcommers should not be allowed to transfer money to other players, so others can't abuse them.

As far as I know, this idea wasn't approved previously by the owners of the server (Probably because of Argonath's Vision? Where it says that each player in Argonath (Doesn't matter how old is he in server) must be treated equality? But this is for their good, they are not being restricted just because they're new, but because they still don't know what they're doing and they need a while to learn everything about server) so it would be nice if owners can explain the disapproval. :redface:

Yes this was accepted and scripted but sadly a day after it was removed.

1. Not cleared by the owners.

Then give a chance to discuss it and understand the situation in server?

2. No new features to be added to RS1.5 as development should concentrate on RS2

It's already scripted, so no-any time will be spent on it anymore, it's ready.

No from me. I knew what I was doing like the 2nd maybe 3rd day in Argonath. There shouldn't be some script to disable what people want and such. Suppose they do get a cop job, okay. How about they want to roleplay a car brake down or something and they want to pay the player for the great job they did roleplaying and such.

I would add an import limit for transfers of about 1k, but not removing the right to give as much money as they want..

It would be nice to have a message that appears when they try to give more money than 1k that warns them about scamming.. so something like "since you are a new player in out server, you can't send more than 1k per time to protect you from being scammed etc etc..."

Good idea.

It does have one flaw though and that is when no admins are online. But you've got log checks and managers there to help should the need be.
