Well Just wondering if anyone else has received a Android 4.0 ICS upgrade or has a Android 4.0 phone here.
So Lets discuss. (All the pictures are from my own phone)

Well, It wasn't longer than 5 mins when I recently got the latest 4.0.3 for my Sony Xperia Ray.

The update packs some awesome stuff. which includes Face Unlocking!!  :hurray:  more can be read here. http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/upgrade-to-android-4/

The below pic was taken with my laptop webcam to make it readable since I got that on startup after update.

This is what the home screen and new icons look like (Click on the pics to see bigger) :

So, Lets discuss what you like about the new update, does it seem interesting or previous versions were better?

As i don't have what is deemed to be a suitable phone to run ICS(Wildfire S) I'm stuck with having to port ICS.

Haha Same for most people, Actually I believe I'm among the very first few to get this in Asia. Seeing except for a few countries like China the latest phone by Samsung which packs Android 4.0 hasn't been released in most countries, even if it is, I still have 4.0.3 :P

Tho I'm not sure of Asia, I'm pretty sure my phone is the only one in my country with Android 4.0 right now, Seeing its 4 A.M. and only 3 models Sony Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray have received the updates, Tho I can't be sure if the update has been rolled out in India yet, since I imported my phone from the USA and they rolled out the updates via SI numbers, So mine surely has some foreign SI number.

I've had it for a month or so already. Nothing huge in the system, just the design more.

I'd say for me, The phone has got faster, and the camera is much much more better than it ever was in any of the phones yet made. Because Sony has done something to make the phone camera similar to their Cyber shot line up, The interface is better, and camera is taking even sharper pictures than before.

One thing I hate, no more touch sensitive click :/ There's a button on the screen which I must press to take a picture, unlike before where I had to only tap the screen and it'd auto focus and click a picture. So no more HD 8MP self pics for me. And front camera is only 1.3 MP, nothing compared to the 8MP so its a big set back.

Also I had noticed, A new Gallery is added, will be adding the screen shot later in the evening. You'll be amazed to notice something there.  :devroll:

Took some images a moment ago bit grainy/dark as it's very early here but you get the idea.

To prove that it runs (To an extent) and I'm not telling porkies. It's part of a CyanogenMod 9 port effort.

Notice the icon in the top left i've grown to love. The low on space icon.

I liked 4.0 it's smooth!

It's so so for me at the moment but of course will be improved.
