File-sharing site The Pirate Bay must be blocked by UK internet service providers, the High Court has ruled. Sky, Everything Everywhere, TalkTalk, O2 and Virgin Media must all prevent their users from accessing the site.

Thoughts? The filter, created by BT with funding from the government, was originally intended to solely be used to prevent child pornography from being accessed, not facilitate censorship.. Oh well, either way, this will have no effect on those who want to reach TPB as the UK's Pirate Party have already set up a mirror..
