We tend to exclude people with findings reasons that we will never do and blame it on them, then push for a punishment.

We have NO right to decide life or death, the entire job of the justice system is to help, not throw away. The person here could of very well been treated(given that he wasnt shot) and would of served a proper sentence, even letting the new him roam free in our world will be a punishment much heavier than value(who wants to be seen with a man who eat another man?hint: just world fallacy again).
