I have seen many people saying that in RS.5 we will lose every belongings and something like that. And some says that we will not loose anything except our $$$.

So the purpose of starting this topic was to tell the players about my thinking...

First of all we better look at rich people. They got mansions/cars/helicopters/planes and etc.
So do you believe that in RS.5 they will loose their $$$ cars/cribs?Do you?.No,according to my thinking players will not loose their stuff`s.For instance:A player playing argonath since 2 or 3 years.Do you think that if we loose everything then they will also loose their /whenmade ???No this can`t be.
I think the scripters will save all the data of all players and then transfer it to RS.5

That`s all what i got in my mind right now. :)

If you'd have searched, you'd see the topic with the information regarding RS5.

I doubt that they will divide players to old or new and therefore save their belongings.. if they are to reset it, they'll do it for all with exception of houses I think.
Anyways I'm really looking forward to a reset, since we have a lot 'lazy-asses' nowdays :P

People are putting way too much value on this date, which is exactly why it should be removed.
Argonath has always had the policy that new and old players are equally valuabe, and the fixation on /whenmade disturbs that policy.

What about old players VeLuX_Corleone his /whenmade is 2008 and he dosent want to loose it. because They will think he is a new player and yeah i'm proud of being an old player on argonath and he is to. And i think many others is to. so it would be like starting an new server why not just move that little part of the database over there ?

IF you really need a date to show you are 'important', then you really are not. If you want to make an impact on the server and have something 'worth,' maybe you should start making good friends and being a nice guy to everyone. People will remember you better for how you act and your attitude than when your account was made.

Yes we are all valuable and make our own contributions to the community but I don't think players use the /whenmade as a means show off themselves as a better player that someone with a more recent date. They simply use it as a means to milestone their progression in the SA:MP community seeing how long they have been dedicated to this entire Argonath Experience.

On one side I disagree with the reset of every account,
Players worked hard to get to the stance they have now.
If they did this in a month before RS5's release it would feel like they did all for nothing.

On another side I agree with the reset of every account,
as this would make everyone on the same level. and it just depends on the effort players set in to work back to what they have.

I however vote NOT to reset accounts, The reason is the first one stated in this post.

Who gives a shit about his /whenmade. It's a date when you registered. Not your ID.

I once heard this though:
Code: [Select]
"If the accounts of RS4 cannot be converted to the system RS5 uses. Then a full reset will come."
