This clan operates a 'Quality, not Quantity' scheme.
The Almighty Veterans (=AV=) clan originated following the merging of the two clans 'Almighty Kings' (=AK=) and 'The Veterans' (=TV=) hence the name.On June 14th we received permission from the leaders of Argonath to change the name to 'Argonath Veterans' the only clan to do so. For 24 hours AV members had a vote and the results concluded in favour of the new name.
On June 15th 2007 the clan's name officially changed to 'Argonath Veterans', the name we've been known for for over ten years now. With the granting of this name, the concept of ''Argonath RPG Official Clans'' was born, the Argonath Veterans becoming the first and later of course TeaM MTA, the White Shadows Clan and The Crimson Legacy. AV's founders include =AV=9r2e5i3k, =AV=Dave and =AV=Janek
While MTA:VC was still bustling with life, nearing the end of 2007, the clan started to gravitate towards Argonath's new server in SA:MP. In 2008, =AV=FlameMan was eventually appointed as AV Clan Leader. Under his lead, the clan managed to grow into the biggest and most active clan of the entire community. Around that time, the four biggest and most active clans were the Argonath Veterans Clan (
=AV=), The White Shadows Clan (
[WS]), The Rockstars Clan (
[R*]/[Rstar] and The Armed Limo Service (
[ALS]).
After a very succesful year for both the clan and the Argonath community in 2008, 2009 arrived and brought much of the same with even more growth. A clan alliance was struck between the White Shadows Clan and the Argonath Veterans. Separate boards were made at both clan forums for better communication between the two. At this point, WS and AV were the biggest clans in the community.
Many AV members at the time were involved in the SAPD, which led to people refering to AV and WS (for the same reason) as ''cop clans''. This has however never been the case. At a very early point in AV's existence, it was decided that we promote every form of roleplay and do not stick to only one character, feeling that this would limit both our members and hurt the clan activity as a whole. This eleven year old philosophy has always been enforced in the clan and it continues to be a pillar for AV today.
2010 and 2011 were turbulent years for the clan. As many didn't like the way the community was headed, or simply did not have the time or will to play anymore, the clan saw a decrease in members. FlameMan left his Clan Leader position and =AV=Zaila took over for a while, playing in both SA:MP and MTA:VC with founder =AV=Dave being closely involved again, too. There were internal conflicts which in part eventually led to founder =AV=Janek leaving/closing the clan, trying out TeaM MTA instead. His stay with TeaM was however shortlived, and Janek took back the leadership of AV around April 2011.
With =AV=Zaila's eventual departure, =AV=Spikmun was appointed as clan leader in 2012. Under his lead, the clan saw a stable activity and rose back to its former status in the community again. =AV=Edds and =AV=StatuZ were part of the member management.
In 2013 things continued steadily under =AV=Spikmun's leadership. =AV=Salmonella was eventually appointed as member management due to =AV=StatuZ and =AV=Edds going inactive and leaving the clan. Eventually, =AV=Salmonella resigned from his position as Member Manager, staying in the clan as member.
2014 and 2015 were silent, yet stable years for the clan. Still being led by =AV=Spikmun and with =AV=Grizz being appointed as Member Manager. Lots of applications were made, but few were accepted due to the democratic system AV still applies today. Towards the end of 2015, =AV=Spikmun lost the ability to be active around the clan and the community and thus =AV=Loris was appointed to be the new Clan Leader. Along with that, =AV=Kaseem and =AV=LukeN were appointed Member Managers and =AV=Grizz as webmaster, rather than active Member Manager.
It was also in 2015 that =AV=Salmonella returned to the community. While always having been active within the clan the years prior to his return, his newly found activity in the Argonath RPG community led to him being reappointed as Member Manager alongside =AV=Kaseem on the clan's 9th anniversary on January the 3rd, 2016. With =AV=Salmonella's return to the community and promotion within the clan, he started to focus on the VC:MP part of the community rather than the SA:MP server the clan has been focusing on since 2008.
Returning to the root of both Argonath and the Argonath Veterans in 2015, the clan started to steadily gain members there. The first to have been invited were =AV=Hype and =AV=Stalker. Merging right in with the clanmembers, primarily from SA:MP, they eventually became a great active chunk of the clan as a whole, playing DayZ and other games with existing members. Because of this, more VC:MP players were able to join the clan, making the Argonath Veterans Clan a truly diverse clan with members from different playing backgrounds within the Argonath RPG community once again.
It was on July the 30th in 2016 that =AV=Salmonella was appointed Clan Leader and =AV=Hype Member Manager. Gaining new members from both the SA:MP and VC:MP servers, the clan has been the most active clan in both servers, welcoming players from all around, connecting them to have a fun gaming experience with one another, providing help for new players in both communities and spreading the way Argonath RPG was meant and intended to be played across the community.
- Know and abide by all rules of Argonath RPG servers.
- Respect the clan, it's members and follow the clan leaders' decisions.
- Play for fun and friendship, not for achievements (admin status, in-game wealth).
- Be friendly and maintain the clan's good reputation.
- Do not force others to play by your own, unofficial rules.
- Be creative while role playing. Attempt to positively surprise all participating players.
- Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden. Cheaters will get kicked from the clan instantly.
- High inactivity can get you removed from the clan. If you come back, please notify the leaders or member managers.
- The Argonath Veterans clan operates on a singular clan membership rule. That means you cannot join (nor apply for) another clan on any Argonath RPG servers if you wish to be an =AV= member.
- You have to be active on our forums. "Passive" members, who think that being in a clan is equal to wearing the clan TAG only, will be removed from the clan without warning.

Those who apply or were invited must display certain qualities:
- You must know what to expect from the clan, and what will the clan expect from you.
- You must play with our members - we don't accept strangers.
- You have to be registered on the Argonath RPG forum.
Time played:- There is no required time for people to play Argonath before being invited to join.
Experience:- You must know and follow Argonath RPG server rules. Remember that on Argonath RPG there is no for those without brains:/IC context and no power-/meta- gaming. These terms do not exist.
- You must be able to help new players in discovering what's role play and how do we play on Argonath RPG. In other words, you must be an example for new players.
- You must control your anger. If you're friendly, that should be no problem. But if you lose your temper fast, get the habit of turning off your game instead of bursting out your anger on other players.
We do not tolerate rule-breakers in our clan. If there is an AV member rule-breaking, please take screenshots (if possible) and contact a leader in any possible form (ingame PM, forum PM, Messenger). After receiving a complaint, action will be taken.
