Disregard for the Five-Vehicle Rule?

In a report received by one of my VCPD Officers, Lance_V claims that the five-vehicle rule (which allows suspects to use only five vehicles before either fighting, surrendering, or running on foot) was removed recently.



I do not recall any alterations or removal of this rule with the exception of SA:MP some time ago. No one, not even Klaus, has the permission to remove any server rule without direct approval from the Owners, and I want an explanation as to why the five-vehicle rule, which has been around since the beginning of Argonath, is disregarded so blatantly in VC:MP.

This is not the first time either that individuals have been claiming that this rule has been voided, removed, or disregarded.

Can we have some clarity here? Us VCPD Officers NEED to know verdict otherwise we can be enforcing wrong rules and be warned for it.

The five-vehicle rule is in effect, as it has always been since the beginning of Argonath, unless an Owner says otherwise.

Well, i remember when i was chasing Klaus and he took his 6th vehicle, i said "Hey! You can take only 5 cars!"
He said
"Does anyone even care about that rule anymore?" <--- smthng like that.

I had to shout to get the attention of Kessu to eject the suspect.

Indeed I have thought since like 2010 that the rule has been removed.

People stopped caring about the rule as they'd rather just continue the chase (you know, play & and have fun?) instead of complaining that the suspect has used so many cars. All the rule does is give an unnecessary advantage to police so it was "removed".

That rule has been in place even before you were picked as a Moderator, and no one has been complaining. I do not recall the Owners saying that it was permissible to drop and "remove" the server rules, let alone one of the original rules.

When there is no member of the administration online, the rule is to be followed. When there is a member of the administration online, the criminal/criminals being chased and the police force should contact the admin to establish if both parties agree with 5 car limitation. If both parties share the same view, then for the sake of action/RP the 5 car limit can be either followed or not . In case the parties have different views, the 5 car limit takes place and should it be disrespected, the administration member should then apply punishments.
