That seems like a better solution... the only thing lacking to see is if the players will follow it or not. It should not be too hard with a little encouragement from the administration.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

If this is an issue, maybe a discussion with the players, administration team, and Server Owners needs to take place. If the scripts have changed in such a way that the 5 car rule is no longer necessary, then it would make sense to have it removed. If it is still necessary, then removing it shouldn't take place.

The 5-car rule originates from MTA:VC for the simple reason that as there is no way to remove wanted level some people would use this to constantly bug cops and do nothing except run around wanted all day.
Apart from that I personally do not see the fun in that (and yes I have tried) the idea is for situations to end so that a new roleplay can be made.

This was done because while a normal vehicle can be repaired in Pay'nSpray, police vehicles can not.
The reason it was remove from SA:MP is that with the ability to repair all types of cars, mening a level playing field between police vehicles and other ones.

The suggested solution is the best one. If players care about the rule, enforce it. If they prefer endless chases, let them have it.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

we already have heat wanted level system thus there's no endless chases unless the cops are constantly at close radius with the suspect as then his heat only raises... and trust me the synch is good enough that it's possible to take down people who enter new cars easily (you do have to actually try though)

and our pay'n'spray allows all vehicles to be repaired since vcmp doesn't use default gta:vc p'n's but a custom script instead
that being said i feel like this rule is completely pointless as the situation is now

So must it always be a win-win for police ? I've heard officers Talk about earning 300k in 2 days just from killing wanted suspects .. I make 300 k a month from my business now ..

Hm, I think with this rule it just has to be administrated in a fair way that'll work in the best interests of both sides - some things are ideal for certain roleplay circumstances, while depending on the environment, other things may need adjusting.

As for earning 300k from 2 days, or even a handful of days from the general police job I think is exaggeration. I can think of some ways of achieving such a figure, at least over the space of more than just a few days, but that'd take a lot of activity and potentially good work.

I'd say it is easy enough to spot those that are just in it for the money, those that often neglect roleplay. Such usually don't stand much of a chance in making the best of what Argonath has to offer.

It's possible, but not likely. Only if someone manages to kill every single Furie that is online during a FBI HQ take-over  :lol:

Anyways, about this rule, I would be more than glad to see it being removed because you already can evade crimes and it's VERY hard to evade higher heat levels, especially when this rule is applied.
