What should I do?

Today, me and other eighteen students were witness of a guy in my class breaking stuff up: scratching the wall, breaking the teacher's stuff, writing "Fuck you teacher" on the board (in portuguese) n' stuff. When the teacher knew what happened, she said: "If you don't tell me who did this, everybody that was here will be punished.". We don't want to point who did it because we are afraid that this guy do something to us, because there are  gangs and "friends" (if you know what I mean), and because it's not our job to be the ones that point out who did this, who did that.

In your opnion, what should I do?

My advice is to speak with that teacher after school ends, thats very skilfull so the teacher can watch him. And say the teacher that he dont must say from who he heart it.

In my past there were such things too, i talked with teacher and everything got solved.
I think you must follow my advice, thats everything i can say..

You should say the name of the brainless guy and ask the teacher for protection, or better:

I tell you the name of the brainless guy but if they touch me or my friends you will see my parents here...with a lawyer, so don't say my name when he will be punished..

You can't be slave of gangs and other stupid childish things, in the school you should learn how to live and respect people, not just gain respect for not being attacked by gangs and random idiots...You don't have the students syndicate?

Problem is, I go home walking alone, so they could gang up on me easily. I don't carry weapons and other things to defend myself. And I intend to not carry any. I'm pretty much pacifist.

How can I ask for protection? Who would protect me? Teachers?
I agree I can't be slave to em', but if I get attacked... Nah, it doesn't compensate the risk...
We don't have a student sydicate, but it's a nice idea to create one btw. I'll suggest that to the headmaster later. Thx  :banana:

That might work but the "brainless guy" like Luca said  and his gang stay on the school until 5 o' clock and my class ends at noon. If they saw me talking with a teacher afterclass, they would be sure that I am telling his name.

when you are in class, slip a teacher a note saying "can i have your number to talk to you, i know the name of the vandal who did it" and call when you get home...

Watahell, you can call the teacher as well, when you are back from school and you call around 20:30 GMT the teacher, then you can talk with him about it. Maybe this is gonna work, so just try it..

In italy happens the same thing, but with the real gangsters. The witnesses against the mafia go back to their home after the trial and somebody shoot them in front of the door...is a form of slavery based on fear and terror, and you must learn at school that this is not fair and you can't become a slave of those teletubbies guys.

You think they will really attack you while you are going at home? You shouldn't be afraid of some teletubbies kids....if they touch you their families are in BIG troubles with law and justice
