and you really think people will stop dming here? if you want completly rp server you'll need to ban 90 percent of the guys here and then the server will stay with 10 players
every new player who joins the server starts dming, why doesnt it happen on lsrp? beacuse in lsrp you need to show your rping skills and not your dming skills before joining a clan mafia police or w/e
today you can find in almost every application to those clans police "recommended, good shooting skills"

I will take this statement as an example. This is nothing pointed towards you, AirOne.

I hear this atleast twice during my duty as an admin each day. I agree that new players are deathmatching often, but why are they doing it? Obviously since they are not aware of our rules.
I have spectated several new players since my return to the admin team, I had two reasons to do so;

1. To see how they behave and see if they obey our rules.
2. To see how old schoolers / regulars treat our newcommers when they start to rulebreak.

The majority of you report the newcommer for deathmatching but you are also deathmatching the same after the report. Where is the logic in that? How are you thinking when you attacking a newcommer instead of teaching him the rules? You do not even attempt to teach, in few cases it happends, but I see more deathmatch acts from regulars then a lesson in Argonath RPG SA:MP.

Yesterday I got reported to the management because I punished a regular who deathmatched a newcommer. He said I must treat every player equally but how do you suppose us (administration team) to punish players who are not aware of our rules? How do you suppose the new players to adapt to our rules when we punish them the same we do with regulars? How do you suppose to change the current atmosphere if you not learn the newcommers how they should play?

It is time for all of you to consider your moves very carefully. The respect level is even more serious then the deathmatching currently. Even after 300 seconds banana you provoke other groups / players. Even after warnings from the administration team you break our rules. Administration team serve and protect to the best of their abilites, but we can not do this alone. If you fail to acknowledge and obey we will never raise again.

So you are comparing a new player that has 0 knowledge of Argonath's rules with so called "mafia" members, which some posses several years of knowledge within the server and has multiple warnings/kicks and etc.. for DMing on his back?

if a new players dm us with his spas we cant do nothing else then protect our life and kill him, THEN we teach him the rules over pm and tell him to not dm, but its such a bad excuse "new players doesnt know the rules" beacuse you can always /rules and this command exsist on every server in samp + you MUST accept the rules TWICE before registering
this is a fact - the server is starting to become cops n robbers and i do not mean to provoke or moan or w/e just telling my opinion, must of the civilians/suspects sees a blue dot on the map and starts to piss him off to get /su'd and then go in thier nrg or infernus with m4 and spas and guess what they do? kill cops..
i just think there should be applications before registering the server if all of those bans, tempbans warnings and kicks didnt teach to not dm
chris - do you prefer everyone spasing the shit out of each other instead of this? i didnt say we should disable main chat or something beacuse yea argonath without mainchat isnt argonath, but there should be a message to moderators when a new players joins the server, he gets freezed till a moderator gets to him and teach him the rules, atleast the basic command /me and how to communicate with others

there were accepted 23 moderators into the team and i see atleast 5-7 online of them every day, so i dont think this thing can happen..

Then Either

1.) new Player kills someone when they are trying to tell them to stop
2.) veteran player kills new player to protect themselves


Those are the only two options that ever happen because new players start shooting and rarely ever listen unless an admin stops them to talk.

Anyways... It is not often I see a new player with a weapon, more likely he uses his vehicle to ram others or/and uses his fists to punch. Several regulars using their weapons instead of ask him in a polite way to stop his actions and welcome him to Argonath RPG.

Just because they have accepted the rules does not mean they have acknowledged them. It is a fact new players are not aware of our server rules. It is a fact that the majority of the regulars do not care to teach new players.

If everything is so good and there is no issues in the server you speak about why are you still here? I have only heard you speak but to be honest I have never seen you act for your words. People speak a lot about how good it should be if players would not had the opperunity to go on cop duty until they have played seven days, yet I only see few players sit with new officers and teaching them.
People speak about how good it should be if newcommers do not have the ability to purchase weapons, yet people deathmatching instead of teach.

During my absense from the adminstrator team I managed to teach several newcommers, without administrator powers. All you need is patience and respect that the new player have not acknowledged the rules. It will not help to shout "Idiot come here" "You are useless, get away idiot" "Are you retarded?!!" "Stop it idiot!!" or what ever you scream ingame. The majority of you fail to acknowledge and understand the perspective from a new player. You also fail to respect your fellow players which I quailfy as regulars and your friends, hence the current atmosphere.
