That's for damn sure. I hope this means, that more groups will be created to Argonath which are teaching more roleplaying instead of whom to shoot or whom not.
Exactly. More than once, we have encountered groups which instruct their members in CB to go DM the cops or members of group X.
The view that regulars are not obliged to help new players at all? I find it to be very selfish and elitist.
Why so? As mentioned before, regulars constitute the examples which new players learn from when they enter the server. If the veterans adapt an apathetic / ignorant stance, then the result will be new players with less quality. Even now, many of our regulars and "veterans" already engage continually in rulebreaking, which in itself influences our new players to do the same.
So before anyone pulls up bullshit arguments when a regular is banned for exerting negative actions on / being a bad influence towards a new player, then they should consider that even they themselves are not worthy examples. If they do not agree with our system, then they are free to go somewhere else, and we will not stop them...
