Prosecution decision. Whats your opinion?

I think it's the right decision and a claim.
It's the prosecution's job to put down claim of insanity, as long as there is a doubt, and it is so big as it is now..

But I have good faith that the judges will choose the correct conclusion. As Engh said, it is not the public sense of justice, that should count here, but the evidence of sanity or not.

For rest of life? Ok, now that is justice. Tough he might do something stupid there, but, that is the good thing. Hidden away from eyes public eyes forever.

What low sentence? Even if not sent to a mental institution, his ~20 year prison sentence will be extended to life using various legal loopholes.
Even if he does make it out some day, one of the ~160 parents will no doubt either murder him themselves or have him killed through other means.

The time where he was declared sane was correct in my eyes. He is simply an evil person. Personally, I do not believe that an insane person can be evil, by definition.

I hope he is not insane. He will be eating some pills every day, wearing some shitty white uniform and be with people who can't even interact with, forever alone..that's the worst punishment.

This is still not what the people want. Being a patient in a mental institution/prison is far better than firing squad or hanging.

Once again in civilzed countries a punishment for crimes is not to give revenge to the victims.
That is for barbaric societies.
