Welcome to the NEW Argonath Government Radio Show.

SCHEDULE

(=AK=John) will be broadcasting on 'The John Show' on 'Argonath Government Radio' from:

18:00 - 21:00 and 22:00 - 23:00 on weekdays,

-and-

12:00 - 18:00 on Saturdays, and

14:00 - 18:00 and 21:00/22:00 - 23:00 on Sundays (To commentate lottery)


Music

On Argonath Government Radio, we provide the best mix of current music, and older stuff, of mixed genres. If you are not hearing something which you want to, (within reason) we will try to make it happen! There is always a good mix of genres and languages. If you want something in your language, join the Radio TeamSpeak channel, or PM in-game.


Competitions

Competitions are run every day. There are normally 2, the first is a general task, involving different things, depending on what I choose to be feeling in the mood for, and the second, is soley based on one of the many NEWS reports which are given throughout my show. The question relates to one element of one article, and it is up to the listeners to...listen to the news, and pay attention, because the question is based on it! The closest answer to the correct one, for example, "How old is John Smith?" and 4 people answer: 48, 56, 10 and 89, and the correct answer is 11, the person who answered "10" would win the $200 prize. If they guess exactly, they may win up to $500!


News

News bulletins are given up to every 30 mins. The news is varied in every bulletin, from European to Technology, and weather, the news covers a wide range of subjects. There is something for everyone.


Advertising

Do you have a company in Argonath? Want your clan to stand out from the others? Want to recruit people for your clan / business? Then advertise with Argonath Government Radio! For just $500 per week, your advertisement will be played up to 3 times per hour, for every hour of my show. You can record a jingle, and an advert as an "MP3" format, but it must be less than 20 seconds long. Or, you could pay an extra $100 and we will make an advert for you in MP3 format, played over the waves for all to hear.


Revenue

All monies generated will be ploughed back into the radio station in the form of prizes, wages for DJs and reporters, and the voice over teams.
