If i understood right, you are claiming that if the attacks wasn't done in first place, Israel wouldn't be have taken larges parts of lands. The Arabs didn't recognize Israel as a nation. As Israel continued to expand, the Arab countries became vary of it. Now, how did a small nation like that manage to defeat the Arabs? Surely they had help from a greater source. The people whose lands were being taken were opened to many choices. Die, Flee or fight. This brings back to my previous answers, there surely will be a retaliation if one man home is being invaded. Palestine is a minority to them, Islam, is their greatest enemy.

There was no war in 1948. There was never a Palestina as country.
And the people also had the option to stay and be part of Israel, an option many have taken in peace.

Before England it was part of the Ottoman Empire. England did not arrive to Palestine, as Palestine did not exist as country. England did conquer territories from the Ottoman Empire though.

When it was part of the Ottoman empire. It was referred to as Palestine and a Muslim country. After the first world war the Shaam district was cut out between France and England.

The area is historically referred to as Palestine by some and Israel by others.
