there's /c loot, make /c getevidence or something like that

now, 'corrupt' cops would use /c loot for personal profit, (which is allowed admin-side but not law side) while the good-karma ones would use /c getevidence, which would transfer the money to their inventory, but not as real money. Now, they're meant to go to the PD, and do /c turnevi (/c turnevidence) and would either (for 1.9) get some cash as a bonus, or (for 2.0) it would add 'good cop points' to their next payday (since 2.0 is meant to have a point-system regarding cop pay if I remember right)

Evidence idea sounds decent

One thing about loot right now is that you can only get money (as opposed to food/drugs/x/y...).

Would be interesting what we can make of it in future.
Right now, VCPD has had no ruling on the newer /c loot command. Extra spoils? I don't know.

Maybe - to build on the /c getevidence idea - the money could go into some sort of fund for the police, if ever there was one. As all equipment is now "free" in that it comes directly from government, no budgets (apart from those concerning individual pay schemes) are there to worry about.

But under the current environment, it'd be awesome to see it getting added to the (scripted) departmental pay schemes that are under development.

Nah. Looting should be allowed for Police Officers, but it would be against the argonath law.

As no 'official' reply was given:

From what we've found out, newer systems in the making (scripted) should give more options for police, so that it does not appear as if state employees are simply "scavenging" off suspects.
Note: No changes have been implemented just yet.

This should meet the requirements put forward by this petition.
