Just out of curiosity, why not Spartan hoplites?

Just hoping, that it would be atleast as awesome as the first one.

The cavalry and skirmishes are mere, as well as mercenary availabilities, plus those Egyptians always blocked my trade routes and the Romans attacked me from the West, same as Macedonians from North. Though I've played as The Greek Cities before, I only managed to conquer Asia Minor aswell as South Italy including Sicily while keeping peace with the rest of Greek factions.

What I like in Carthage, besides Elephants of course, is their Sacred Band infantry and cavalry and ofcourse I always prefered the hoplite style fighting instead of legions, even though the Spartan Hoplite is unmatchable.

I was really into my Julli campaign, but that was on my old PC.  :( I had conquered all of Europe and the majority of North Africa. From what I remember, I was preparing my army for the final assault on Egyptian controlled territory - they were the only force between me and total domination.

Probably a good thing that it ended where it did though, because they probably would of kicked my ass; the number of armies they had was ridiculous.  :lol:
