Searching for crime RPGs

Hello, I'm looking for some crime RPGs (that being said, playing either as a cop/gangster/whatever in 1900-2100), since I'm bored and I'm not on my PC (unable to play VCMP due to internet connection)

laptop specs:
8 gb ram
i5 processor
some 1 gb nvidia lol
win 7 64 bit

lol. I finished it 10 times and was in modding community (edited freeride script adding new features like buying guns through a phone booth) for a while, then it got boring.

 True crime New York  - an ex gangster joining police force,can do drug checks,have police call outs,place weed into people pockets to arrest them. Have your chief respect or either disrespect .

Shitload of story missions and full action game,definitely worth a shot.

yeah played it too...thing is the game is really buggy as in the fighting isnt satisfying (at least shooting)

Like I said the internet I have atm does not allow me to play VC:MP, so even more likely it won't run 'real' multiplayer games properly.

oh yeah I totally forgot about it. It's pretty fun but I hate how I get FPS stutters while driving cars for some reason (like in Saints Row 2) also after you finish it theres literally nothing to do except for robbing banks, also quite annoying how you can't downgrade your weapons
