Well, we all were a newbies.
So, lets get to my point, my point is like that.
We have to be sensitive with the newbies. You as probably experienced player should teach them, flooding the admins /report lines aren't the solution if you understand that.
Also, we cannot expect any newbie to know all the rules in his first days, maybe he even haven't a forum account yet which reduce the chances he will know all the issued rules in Argonath RPG community.
Admins have to protect those newbies from some reasons, first, the newbies wont learn the rules better by getting kicked constantly or getting admin jailed, they will just leave the community in assume that the admins "sucks" or things like that. We, the players and the admins should give them a guide. As a example, me, as SAPD Officer should give new ARPD officers or SAPD Cadets a guide, a someone to teach them the procedures or the police and observe their skills to make them as the best they could without being corrupt.
What i'm trying to say here is, take some moments and PM them or even teach them face-to-face how to behave and not break any rule by teaching them the rules. Not all the rules are appear in /rules, in the script only appear the basic ones (Deathmatch etc.) also, as I said, do not expect from them to have a forum membership or even visiting the forums (Those, the general forums) for the disscussion, I made my account here like 2 months after I joined the community and how I haven't broke rules constantly? I had friends to teach me them, I had good and patient people to help me understand how to play this server in the best way I could.
Be patient with those newbies.
Nim.
