How Do Forum Ranks Work?

Well, i've been curious on the forum ranking system,all i know is that stranger is when you first join,then once you hit 2days(Or 48hours spent on forums)logged on forums,you'll get regular rank.. i'm not quite sure 'bout that.

Then things like forum rank as manager or admin and stuff like that must be given to you.

But what about Vet,Orc,ARUN(i think that given also),hero and all that,how does that work out.
I'd appreciate it if someone can explain,and maybe others might be curious about this aswell.

veteran was around 21 days not sure if hero around 40-45 and orc around to 85-90, not sure on the last ones

They are post-count based unless they are using a mod.

I don't think any mod can do that,unless it hacks into the forum's system,and I guess no one will ever come across something like that

Its still pretty much post count based, the more time you spend time posting/reading, the longer the time gets, as it doesn't count the time you spend AFK'ing on forums.  :devroll:

Yes that is true,your taking time to do those post,or if your working on a topic,even more time.

I'm sure if your AFK on forums for a certain amount of time,and you goto a new page,you'll still have the same time.

Well yes, I think around 40 hours (I don't know how to check on the new layout) but I've been here since 2007. Mario's been here since 2010 and his time triples mine.  :trust:

Anyways,It can't be 40hours for you,40days you maybe meant?I have the old format still so i see mines up top(changed it back,i can show you how just PM me),and i have 5days 19hours and 20minutes logged,still below your rank.

I've worked with forums like this and you can make your own options on how you rank up.As far as I know,it's based on hours logged or wether your put in that group,like you,you were given the forum rank/group TS Administration by a superior.but what I'm wanting to know is,what does it take to rank up,other words,how many hours is for each rank,or if it may be different.
