The loot system we have now is already proving it's point of abusal. Looking at someone who provides 20% of server logs with /c loot <id> by being in battlezone.

Also it produces deathmatching to gain easy goods, as Nylez pointed out. I'm not backing up this idea in any way.

/c loot is to be removed ASAP and is not necessary to the concept of loss on death as we thought before. People are only using it to money-munch in battlezones and to DM people for cash. This idea is no good.

Lol I never saw a big problem with it, it's GTA after all, if I remember properly everyone just stored their money and didn't whine about losses.

If someone is that sad that they spam /c loot all the time then let 'em. I mean your lucky if you get more than 500 bucks from a loot. It's no big deal. About the DMing, IMO it hasn't increased. Most people who kill to loot actually roleplay mugging the victim.

Why is it necessary to make things more lootable? In GTA, the most you get out of dead people is money.

Unless you want your victim to start dropping health and mana potions as well.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

IMO looting isn't a bad script, like klaus said winning a little 500 is nice, all should be taken place is you loost up to a max of 500 or 1000 when you die now like 6 k and 12 k in hand :/

Also, There should be a admin cmd that undo or disable the /c loot like for events or when someone is abused like today i was rammed to death then looted ... that was very unpleasant
