No offense intended - this is the ''highest HDI'' we are supposed to follow as example?

Eu corro fujo desta sombra / Em sonhos vejo este passado
E na parede do meu quarto / Ainda está o seu retrato
Eu quero ver pra não lembrar / Pensei até em me mudar / Lugar qualquer que não exista / O pensamento em você

He will be out in 12 years.

Why? Next year he will finish his autobiography, that will be sold and give him a good funding, he already has influential friends.
In 5 years he will start proclaiming that he now distantiates himself from his past, as during the time in jai he regained his humanity that he disabled to do the attacks.
In 10 years he will ask for release based on his changed views on humanity and society. From his earnings he will make a donation to support the victims and the party which members he killed. The case will be denied after someone makes it public.
In 12 years he will make  new request, and his lawyers will point out that it should be handled outside the public in order oto make it fair. He will be released.

And this, my dear Argonathians, is life
It's embarrassing how no one seems to notice the predictability of all these criminals.

Let's hope there's still justice amongst the prisoners.

Let's hope Norway keeps good relations with Russia. Putin might make some suggestions, as in  Breivik taking a phone call and getting a fatal seizure....

Gandalf I am sorry but your wrong this time

He was sentenced as sane with 21 years in prison with extensions, 10 years minimum.
After the 21 years he can request to get out from the prison, most likely he wont so by then he will need to wait another 5 years to request again.
And so on it goes untill one day he MIGHT get out, or he will sit locked for the rest of hes life, thats how our jail system works with the "extensions" added to it.

It's hard today to say how Breivik will be in twenty years, but he claimed in hes manifest that he would continue hes "work" also in the prison.
The primary rules with the prison plus extensions is that the person, yes will most likely get out in the society one day, lifetime is VERY unlikely.

And to the ones critizing our court system and prisons, we have the most humane prison systems yes, but the best as the criminals who get out are the chances very low that they will repeat the crime, therefor better.

I am mad. Isolate him and don't let him read newspaper, books, magasines and what else makes him proud of him self. It is patehtic that the journalists don't understand that more attention makes him stronger, pshycially.

I hope he die in prison, a real painful death.

Death? He will suffer more with walls around him for 21 years, not to mention the weird random events can occur with the soap guys in prison, unless he get luxury in prison. 21 years... around a wall... better to suffer here than the afterlife but then...

Why did they even have a trial. He should have been locked up for life the second he was caught. All the way through the trial he's been smiling and doing provoking salutes to victims. He obviously has no conscience.

He won't get out,

Being a SANE terrorist with extremist political views, rehab won't help him at all, and everyone knows it. He will have his release delayed after each 21 years and so he will suffer in his 3 rooms not being able to get out forever.

I'd prefer having him tortured by hunger, to let him suffer, but since this is Norway, this suffices.

You know you're wrong if you hide behind your invisible powers you never had in real life. Those who watch me will entirely understand.

Why do I do what I do? Because I know you won't stand someone opposing you. And because you know you can't prove me I'm wrong.

I think that prison would convince more Norweigns to follow Breiviks footsteps and shoot/bomb 69 people.

Only the people in the jail aren't the nicest on earth. I do not think Breivik can go jogging on his own without security.

If Breivik will get out of jail after 21 years, a parent of one of the 70 kids will be older. I guess a parent of one of those 70 children will think about killing Breivik if he is out of jail. You can not understand the feeling of losing one of your children by a man like this. If not, someone else will eventually kill him. In my opinion this jail is better than an elderly home in The Netherlands. I wouldn't
mind to spend the last year(s)of my life in that jail!
