Im just suggesting to owners to start giving back awards in 2012 and next Years , cause since Aragorn been busy and he went inactive we havent see any Nominations.

And there is many People who deserves Awards .

The Oscars and so on were stopped due to people cheating in them multiple times and never learning.

Yup, as MadBoi said, groups have votes to allies/eachothers after deals.
I.e All of group A's members voted for group B as best RP group, and all of group B's members voted for group A as best criminal group.

It's a popularity contest. Nobody deserves an Oscar as it's not benefical at all, just a tiny image on the avatar space. Plus the cheating comes and goes, so yeah sums it up pretty much.

Find a way to prevent bribing and other forms of "buying" votes and maybe they'll bring it back. Until then, there's no point.

Well, as people above said...Shitstorms. Tough, only thing that actually annoys me is the fact that people who have earned rewards can show them off in their profile, while new players, or regulars who didn't earn any, just have to sit there and rot in jealousy...

It caused shitstorms because we didn't cheat, yet we got accused for it.
But that's another story.  I liked the concept with awards, but it should be voted by a jury instead. A jury pendatically picked by numerous managers, etcetera. Trusted and respected individuals who has no whatsoever first and second-type of view of groups just because him being a part of one.
