Why every normal player wants to be admin, or moderator, and they even don't know what is that job,
Who am I to talk about admin/moderator job when I never was admin/mod, but just clear your mind, and ask yourself
But admin job is to help people right? As admins say they recive dozens and dozens of reports a day, so, what do you think, do they have time to actually do thing why they came in game?
They come in game to play, but they wanted to help people, so, there is no time to play for them,

I think everybody should think before he makes that application, or if somebody even offer him position,
What do you think? You will use teleport command to go somewhere, faster?? No they use it to clear situation if somebody called them,
I just don't know but you have deeply ask yourself about that, do you really want it,
Will you give everything to just be an admin?

Just wonder, if 10 persons are spamming in you PM about that they need help? Will you be frustrated? Will you say them "a**hole stop spamming?" And admins got 5 times more, of it, so just imagine people.

Hahaha...been there, done that many times. Trust me...admins have plenty of stories already.

Thanks lol. It's the non-tagged variation of a name I've been using for years, known as "SugarD-x".

One of the biggest points that most people miss when applying to become a moderator is the reality of it. Once becoming a moderator, you will not have a lot of time for yourself and you are basically selling yourself for the server. Not many people can do that. Most burn out within a few months.

The biggest key points for those that DO want to become a moderator are these:
-Do not asslick owners/managers/admins/mods
-Do not go around asking for rights
-Do help new players (enable your /h and send each and every new player a welcome -- I usually send this: /pm xx Welcome to Argo! Please read and follow the /rules! If you need help, contact me or an /admin! -- it makes them feel wanted and the fact that the server is open and welcoming to all)
-Do help on /h
-Respect others and be polite!
-Do not kiss-ass, and act like a wanna-be admin -- therefore do not enforce rules on others if you do not have the power to
-Be active -- on server and on the forums!
-Actively send /reports -- not for every little bullshit reason ("He punched me!" "He /piss on me" "He tell me to f**k off") -- Most situations you can figure out yourself.

Remember this, not everyone is fit to become a moderator. One would need motivation and time to be active on this job.
