Have the same problem, except mine doesn't shut down when playing any game.It shuts down when I play a game AND a YOUTUBE video playing, then my videocard reaches 110C and the whole system shuts down.

Can someone please explain this problem fully so I can tell the repairmen what's the problem when I take it to the shop?

It's shutting down to prevent hardware damage, it should never exceed 80C at any point.
The main causes for overheating is either insufficient cooling after being over-clocked, bad thermal paste or a damaged heatsink or one that is not connected correctly.

That is fully dependent on the videocard. There are videocards that exceed 90C at stress on a regular basis because that's normal for these cards. Especially a lot of AMD cards seem to do this.

AMDs always seem to run extremely hot compared to Intel, all due to their design.

umm, since my case is always open, my GPU fans were going too fast, so I grabbed the GPU by the edge and lifted it a bit, and suddenly the heat started to decrease.

I opened up Speccy without touching the GPU, it had 80C with GTA on, I lifted it up once again and the temp fell down to 50C.I think the GPU is misplaced somehow, because whenever I lift it a bit, the temp falls 20-30C.What should I do?

That sounds more like the GPU itself is warped due to the weight of it or either age.
Try to do something that will support the card more than it already is by the motherboard and the rear of the case.
As for the temperature drop when you slightly lift the card, that may be due to the card being slightly warped that the fan/headsink is not contacting perfectly with the GPU's core which hinders adequate cooling.

Not read the other posts so im not too sure what you have tried up to this point. But check temps using a program called Hwmonitor and report the Cpu core temps and your Gpu temp here.
If all is well after the temps then my guess is that its the hard drive, My friend had the same problem and when i replaced the Hdd it worked and didnt reset.
