GTA SA freezes

Hey guys,

I'm here, with new SA problem. 
When I minimize my game, and then, when I want to enter it, my GTA freezes for 2-5 minutes. It's annoying. I can hear sounds from game, but I cannot be back IG (with picture). I don't know what's problem, and I hope you know!

That can happen, and I've yet to see a fix for it. Best thing you could do is switch to windowed mode (Alt+Enter), then go do whatever you want, and when you switch back to GTA, it should load everything instantly, then just switch back to fullscreen (also Alt+Enter).

which two keys do you use to minimize? ctrl and esc or alt and tab?

Do you press Esc then Alt+Tab or just Alt+Tab while ingame?

Hey MadBoy,

'alt+tab' while I'm IG.

That often causes errors/bugs, try alt+tab after pressing esc next time and see what happens.
I am assuming it lags as the game is trying to catch up with the data which has been loading while you were paused and restore the game at the same time instead of just restoring the game then the data/chat.

MadBoy, It works sometimes, sometimes, not.

Sometimes I have no time, ex. when I'm in SAPD organised patrol and don't have time to log off.
