DISCLAIMER: This is not an attack on players, this is not bashing the server, it is advice for people. If you cannot reply with a structured and mature response I would ask you not reply to this topic. All examples in this topic are made up so don't take any offense to them.


This is in light of a certain type of topic responder and a certain type of topic, both of these seem to be arising quite a lot recently on the forums, hence I'd like to take the time to address these people with some advice on how to create a response which does not make you seem entirely bias, ignorant, stupid, narrow minded and to give others advice on how to create topics addressing an issue without bashing anyone or something that said topics have been labeled in the past.

First of the topics, these being simplistic topics usually created because someone feels they have been mistreated once or twice and it happens "all the time."
I would obviously advise you make a topic about something as a last resort mainly because saying these topics are useful would be bollocks, they cause conflict between players, admins and most likely other players. Admittedly there are some tools on the server but that is no reason to shitfit on the forums claiming it happens every five minutes, this is just a provocation to players and admins. If you want to address something take time to think of how to lay it out, remove any parts that would provoke morons to bash you, look at both sides of the argument/issue before addressing it and choose your words wisely a topic titled "Why admins do no work?!?" will get you nowhere and will fail to address the point. Lastly always include a disclaimer or a note at the beginning stating what you wish to get out of your topic, this should filter out any idiots before they respond.

Secondly the people with poorly structured responses. These people are usually the problem within said topics, they will just consider you someone who hates the community and is stupid as fuck. My advice to you, the responder would be a few things, firstly always read the topic fully, read all the replies before you think about your post, don't instantly reply with insults and a bias load of crap, consider both sides and never allow your emotions do the typing, it'll just make you look like a narrow minded tool.

Thirdly the people who try and suppress said topics. When I say suppress I mean these two classic lines

Depending on the topic it just shows how you have obviously ignored the message of the topic/cannot be arsed to read it all. If you want/have to post this please for all that is good structure it into something!

On a last note if you want to reply to this topic read ALL of it, don't judge and try to understand this was made for the best intentions. However as expected a negative mood has been brought upon an at first attempt of helping to stop a few pointless topics..
