On a more serious note, Iran is indeed a threat to global security. I find it laughable how certain factions still think that "filthy zionists" in Israel can assert more influence over the world than the US Government.

Anyway, I think the world is a bit too civilized these days for a world war thats literly a complete world war, if Russia was to try anything ofc they'd have to face Europe and USA which may lead to a mass slaughter, but I doubt anything like WW3 will ever happen too much to prevent it happening, if I ran a powerful country the last thing I'de want is war, sure your powerful and have the power to dominate other countrys, but other countrys will fight back.

Of course, all it takes is 1 nuke to be launched and then everyone else starts launching nukes in defence..

Heritage. People do not want to give up their family values and give up their land to become unified, since they believe they can exist, while today's needs are entirely different. So, squabbles over land crop up, and you've got yourself a war. Which is a big deal for 'them'.

They don't rage over little things. They fall into a stereotype the world gives them. Many of them are "terrorists" because other countries have invaded their land, killed their families, destroyed their homes, and then claim it's in the name of peace. I'm pretty sure you'd be upset too if someone did that to your country, whether it's in a bad state or not. :P
