GTA IV Steam download time

Well, ive already posted a topic here about my hardware, thats okay for GTA IV.
Here comes the next problem i need to solve:
I have a 2000 W-Lan dsl, not really fast.
I want to download GTA IV from steam, but i dont want to wait more than 5 hours or something.
I just tried to download World of tanks, and it took me a long time.
How can i get my download speed up high?
A lower time would be very comfortable...

5 hours is still reasonable for a massive game, just leave it downloading overnight.
What sort of download speeds do you get?

Prime example, I purchased ArmA2 via steam, it took me 8 days so close to 190 hours of straight downloading to get the game, in that light, 5 hours is not bad.

The only way to increase your download speed is to upgrade your internet connection with your ISP.

Ah well, fice hours is for the low gb games, like world of tanks :s
I dont think i can get more than 100 kb/s .

GTA IV itself is roughly 15gb, so you can work that out for download speeds compared to something else you have downloaded.

Contact your ISP to increase your download speed just like devin said, 5 hours is not much for a 15GB game, just let your PC open when you goto sleep or set a Turn off timer(I don't think that exist)

GTA IV is a really big game, and it will take some time to download, I recommend playing other games while it does that to kill the time.

The little problem about leaving my lapttop open is: my mum wouldnt like that :s
And i dont really wanna sit there 15 days, downloading it for an hour every day and doing nothing (when i downloaded wot, my ping in samp was about 1000 :s )

15 days? I think you can lower the brightness to 0 or just hide the laptop until the next morning, or just buy a DVD game.
