It has nothing to do with your operating system, you just need a modern browser. I would recommend anyone to make the upgrade from Hotmail to Outlook.

Mine was either forcefully upgraded, or upgraded unintentionally... but I guess its better once you get used to it.

Do not open it on an iPhone... Hotmail uses Silverlight.
