Argonath may be a world of its own, but VC:MP's also rather unique.
There are some really great features, individual to this Argonath server, that I'm sure you will enjoy exploring - although nothing beats good old roleplay.

It's a bit of an old one, saying that it's a ghost server (hopefully the people responding to you will show you otherwise :P), but it should be able to speak up for itself.

Don't characterize VCMP along with MTAVC. It's pretty much an insult since VCMP is on a totally different level compared to MTAVC.

Doesn't really matter. I've been online today, not always inactive as you say! You can always PM some notorious VCMP player in the forums and he'll do your request!
