Well alot of you have been getting msg's on skype like this

Well,you all by know most of you think it's some troll thing that when you click it,it repeats the msg to all your friends.

But there's a thing behind it,it's a keylogger made to watch over you and try to accsess your bank accounts and other stuff that may have value to the creator.It then sends all the info back to the creator to have his way with it.

Skype Heads have not said anything on this yet,But It Is Said It Was Made On The Eastern Hemisphere.People are getting freaked out on what to do if you encounter this.

something a freind sent to help me,If you have been effected by the Skype virus follow this:

Change your Skype password immediately
https://login.skype.com/account/password-reset-request
 
In Skype application,
Go to, Tools >> Options... >> Advanced Settings
Click Manage other programs' access to skype
Remove any unknown application (if any)
 
download malwarebytes
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
Run MBAM and use the FileASSASSIN tool to delete the all exe file found under AppData directory
C:\Users\tamim\AppData\Roaming
 
restore performance counter setting from backup (If any)
 
After you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.

You still need your card and a home device to plug it in, right?

Not all of them, some banks just require card numbers to type in and withdraw/transfer.

I got this message 2 times from Warren over msn, the first time i clicked... and it directed me to a .rar file, i didnt download the .exe file which was inside the .rar file altho i did directly scan the whole .rar file and nothing was found, even altho the result was fine im currently scanning again.

Yea,I got it from Warren but I was wondering why it was a download and when I opened it it was an application,scanned it,nothing,went ahead and click it,then my skype popped up and started going crazy with all my contacts.

Warren was dumb enough to do it again  :razz:


Anyway I did what that guy said,run multiple full system scan.Then be even more safe,did a system restore 3hours back intime.

Well, you should know that clicking any URL, unless in a conversation with the person in question, is risky.

MSN has had this kind of bots aswell, up to us to avoid them by not clicking them, right?
