SWAT Status

Before I go on, I know some of you may be like "OMFGWTFBBQ I thought Chase was making SWAT like old SWAT" - well now that's both yes and no. Invitations proved to be a slow and ineffective process. TACTICALLY, we are the old SWAT. No more buffalos and high speed pursuits as I said ages ago. Rank structure is same as well, it's only team and tactics that have changed.

Now that SWAT has detached from SAPD as a independent agency, we are open to ARPD officers as well, but they have to be EXPERIENCED and not a career criminal to join. We aren't leaving SAPD out either, but do note if you choose to join as SAPD, you must be able to assume both roles as SAPD officer and SWAT operative efficiently.

Also, applications will not always be open as we got to do them in waves of 10 per wave.


Also note before applying that SWAT is a ON-CALL type job. Meaning if we call you to duty while you're in game selling ice cream, arresting somebody, or whatever, you MUST report to duty right away. No excuses. So be sure you want this kind of job before applying.

More requirements will be detailed on the application instructions.

So with that said, we welcome anyone to apply, just be sure to read instructions and requirements carefully to increase your chances.

The development of SWAT has been un-going for the past few months now. Finally, the development of SWAT have completed the required to fill in the criteria.
So to make it more clear, the whole SWAT process and structure is changed from scratch with more opportunities.

I hope this was worth waiting, as the SWAT team has been on development mode during the past few months which means they were semi-operational.

Its nice to see some positive changes, i specially like the part allowing ARPD officers to join the SWAT force, and also the no more highspeed pursuit thing, that got annoying...

I personally look forward to a good swat team in RS5
