Understandable. Not trying to diss on your connection or anything. I realize that some areas don't offer anything better, or at least offer anything better at a reasonable price.

The problem here is that the cables need to be replaced since 2 years. They've made a plan and everything but they can't find enough money to actually do it..

I know the feeling. The apartment complex I moved into is in a tiny circle of area where no one but one company covers it. It's in the middle of 2 major cities, and everything around my neighborhood is covered by everyone...except my specific street.

My little village has the choice of 3 shops: All of them owned by the same company, we have about 3 takeaways, a butchers, 2 primary schools and uh not a lot else.

Nearest high school is in the next village along and is about 6 miles away.

Nearest town where I do shopping and stuff is 12 miles away.

College is 26 miles away.

So yeah, rural areas suck, but my internet isn't that bad really.

Considering ISP's are total cheating ***holes about upload speeds, your connection is indeed pretty reasonable. Surprisingly good ping to the test server too!
