Walt Disney Company has purchased Lucas Films from George Lucas for a whopping $4.05 billion dollars. Shortly after, Disney Chief executive announces they will create the 7th installment of Star Wars, which helped create the largely known Lucas Films with George as a consultant and a estimated release in 2015.

inb4 when people realize Disney runs the Marvel Movies, Aka, Iron Man, and The Avengers, aswell as Pirates of the Caribbean, and those we're some of the most epic movies in the last decade, I don't think they'll fuck up.

Lucas said in an interview years ago that he had planned to base future films on the restoration of the republic. However, I'd love to see a film about events that occured in the KotOR games, for example - The Mandalorian Wars, The Jedi Civil War, The Sith Empire and so on.
