Routeblock of Israeli IP's

As has been noted elsewhere, a large number of IP's have been blocked, originating from Israel.

Now you may not consider it fair, however we do not consider it fair to give our admin and manager team daily hours of work because of some people unable to stop ban evading and cheating. It is even less fair that many player keep facilitating them by gaining quick profits from their actions.

As a result, we have decided to take out the trash.
We know that there is a possibility that innocent players were blocked.
And for those who wish to have a chance at playing here are instructions:

1. Contact your provider. Explain them that due to their network policies we have to block access. Tell them we are willing to cooperate with them if they wish to offer a solution other than suggested below.
2. Your provider will most likely not be able to give you a static IP. This because they are pretty expensive.
3. However you can ask your provider to give you a lease time. The installation of a lease time means that your IP will not change if you reconnect within this time. A lease time of 48 hours means that if you reconnect to your IP within 48 hours, it will remain the same.
4. If you got such a lease time, it will mean you are no longer able to ban evade anywhere. So not only Argonath benefits.
5. If your provider has given you this lease time, post it here from your PC, including the lease time you got. Do not post your IP, we know it if you post.
6. The IP used in your post will be unblocked. However if your IP changes, it will need to be unblocked again. There for we will only allow two changed of IP per month. If your lease time is working correct, your IP will not change unless you go on holidays.

Dear Israelian members,

As Chase mentioned on the other topic, there is a method that might work:

I'm not much of an networking expert, but this MIGHT work for the well-behaved Israeli users:

Gandalf - Would a dynamic DNS updater work? Such as http://www.no-ip.com/ .. If it updates their .no-ip.com address with their current IP, then maybe whitelist the .no-ip.com addresses of those who are not cheaters?

It's just an idea.. but there may be a big downside to it that I'm not aware of.

I am not sure if the owners will allow it, but stay tuned at both threads for further replies.

I must to say sir that things here (in israel) are a bitt different cause we cant just ask them to give us somthing, you se sir we have nice poeple and nice country but people here want somthing to give you somthing(if you understand my meaning)..we dont have usually those options of Lease Time cause we have to pay for ANYTHING....if i may to add that me personally, i never got banned and im thankful for that and there for  i never banevade, and there for i never had to know how to change any kind of informaiton in my accounts (I really dont know how to change ips and stuff :P) . Soo thank you for your willing to help us to get back to the game and if you can tell how do we give you any kind of information that is needed to get us back into the game . have a nice weekend-Shabat Shalon (means have a peaceful saturday).

mr Sauron with all my respect but that's not fair i have play this game for 1 year and i got banned 2-3 times and i really cant forget this game i keep thinking about it . but i think u must Block the ip's of ban evaders only . thanks for reading

Simply blocking their IPs will have your IP too as you all seem to share the same IPs at some point in time as you don't have static IP addresses.
Routeblocks are really the last choice to deal with banevaders, and they only implement them when it gets overboard and it's a last resort.

Sauron unblock mny ip man i wanna play argonath now unblock my IP please man i dont care about the israeli banevaders / jackers because its not my job. its admin job to deal with them . If you think for a moment you releaze that the admin job has been made to deal with those hackers/ banevaders . You cant just block all the Israeli's IP'S because our admin team is tired of catching the hackers / banevaders !! Its his job ! . Now please Unblock my IP .

If you were falsely blocked, simply follow the directions in the first post. It's not hard guys. The block is meant to stop those who ruin the game for everyone...not block those who just want to enjoy the server. The point of following those directions is to get you back to having fun!
