The thing is that Israel took nothing from them as they had no country to begin with. So you sit in a house and when it is sold the new owner allows you to stay in one room. But you want the new owner to be thrown out even if he bought the place and renovated all the house.

If Israel can get the Hamas government out of the way, then it can also purge the violence-promoting groups in there. I'm pretty sure that they have the means to do such a thing. Israel is giving them the chance to organise themselves in peace - okay, but so far it seems that those violence groups I mentioned are not permitting that this given chance is used.

About Israeli choosing military targets: The problem is Hamas choosing civilian targets as you said. And the first is not going to prevent the second from happening, if it's going to be about small-scale incursions only.

I'm pretty sure that being under USA's wings, Israel would not suffer. Besides, if the UN was used as a tool for imperialism on Libya, why can they not be used to permit an intervention in Gaza which is actually a real cause?

Your example of Brazil: I fail to understand it, makes no sense to me. Rebel groups? And how can a guy or group burning the land of tribe be compared to the situation of Gaza? These two situations work under different systems.
