Look what's back! Mass Shooting in Pennsylvania

Three people including a woman decorating a church have been killed after a gunman opened fire early Friday in Frankstown Township in Central Pennsylvania. After wounding three officers, the attacker was killed in a shootout with police.
The shootings started at around 9am local time. Police confirmed that the incident extended over several miles, adding that they were investigating at least five separate crime scenes.
Authorities did not release the names of the victims or the assailant, but said they were not related. State police are still trying to determine a timeline and motive of the attacker.
A woman decorating a church for the funeral of the pastor is believed to be the first victim shot. The shooter then allegedly opened fire at two men on the driveway of their home, killing one. The third victim was shot at a crash site after a car chase with police.
When the gunman encountered law enforcement, a shootout began that ended his death. Two Pennsylvania State Troopers were injured during the confrontation, with one being shot twice and a second injured by glass fragments in his eye and bullet fragments in the forehead. A third officer was injured in a car crash during the ordeal.

Sticking armed guards at schools would be pathetic, honestly guns must be the only bit of heritage the USA has if they wan't to keep it this badly, I honestly don't know why they want to keep guns so bad, BBC News said it's because of their constitutional bill of rights or something like that, but is keeping your petty little guns worth innocent people dying in mass shooting nearly EVERY week?

It's called fanatical liberalism. That thing is so well-hugged in there that I doubt any gun control regulations will get strong enough to stop this phenomenom. There's a lot of people in there who would take such an intervention by the State in their lives as a very fatal disrespect.

Yeh, they won't learn until theres a mass shooting every day, and even then they will probibly argue that guns arnt the problem.

There already is, at least in my state. Every school in my state has a police officer assigned to it. Middle schools are 1 officer, High schools are 2 officers. They are assigned by the Sherrif's officer depending on what county they are in.

Not sure about other states though. Although I do believe most have at least one officer there.

Knives are much easier to conceal than guns, and they do more than just kill in one, single way. Against unarmed people, you're still going to have a lot of injuries, if not deaths.

That would be impossible.

Firearms are in excess in the US, there is no possible way to get rid of them. Gun Control can be stiffened, but all that would do would disallow people from carrying concealed weapons and instate a harsher punishment if you were to be caught with one. So what are they going to do, seize all firearms registered in the US? That would never happen, not to mention the number of unregistered firearms that are out there as well.
