As some of us are already arrived in 2013, I would like to take the time to wish everyone a great 2013.
The year 2012 has had its ups and downs, as we did not always reach what we wished to. The release of RS5 has been delayed, and while currently we have a hard-working team they found that to create something special takes more effort as it seems initially. The good news is that we are very close and will manage within short time.
For 2013 we are going to have some new and exciting developments. We will look to better ways of integrating our various servers, and finally introduce those new games we have been talking about.
To be honest there have been times we have considered closing this community. Not while we were attacked, as any attack always makes us realise that we are still worthy of being targetted. But at other times when we see that we have not always the alertness from the HQ that we would like.
For 2013 we hope that our HQ will react faster on trouble and down time so that we can offer our community the best service possible. We will be going on, no matter what.
At this time I would like to send a message of love to our enemies and ban evaders. Without you we would not exist. Without you we would not be as strong as we are. Without you we would be bored. You give us a reason to care, a reasong to fight a reason to go on. So thanks, and please in between your jail time and being disconnected keep up the good work of shitting uw and attacking.
To our players and loyal members: we are happy you are here. We see many old faces look in now and then, even if they do no longer play the old games.
But if you moved on to new ones that might be possible for us to open a server for, do not hesitate to alert. We are still wanting to expandd to keep us alive for the future. As popular as our main servers are, the game has not got eternal life and we need to keep up with new RP opportunities.
A note to those who await our next releases: be aware that we are going to be stricter on things like bad language, flaming and disrespect towards others. If your parents do not teach you to behave, we wil. Remember Argonath is a place to meet new people from all over the world, connect with them and find friends.
It is not a place to flame, disrespect and close out new people. We may have allowed too much in the past, so be aware that you may be punished for things you believe were normal.
2013 is going to be an interesting and challenging year. We hope to devote more time to the community and be able to improve in all parts. Hopefully you, the players, team, and HQ will continue to support us.
