Teddy, how about a MTS SA PAruni DayZ server?
MTASA DAYZ script is available online for free, and there are millions of other servers running it.
It actually brings in more players than actual DayZ because it isnt high demanding and just MTA is needed.

Millions was exaggerated. However the actual amount is no less than hundreds of servers. Ive tried them when I couldnt run DayZ like most players with low end PCs.
Most servers have ping limits and country based. Only those players can join. There are like 2-4 international ones eith 200 ping limits, which again destroys the experience. If one can actually find the server runn ing properly, then you find the racism, moaning, flaming and abusing by the server management itself. Not to mention most servers have their country language enforced so you domt even understand stuff.
It really isnt a good experience. Opening an international server where we would treat others properly, help new players would really make our server very famous to be honest.

Then as a scripter you should understand how hard it would be to script and develop a working DayZ server from scratch, this is NOT some copy and paste coding job but it's your choice if you would like too put hour upon hour by yourself working on a server. I expect nice results.
