Hey, i'm [NP]Max_Lopez in IVMP server. I came in today after a long time inactivity (had problems with IV) and it tells me that i have to register again and doesnt give the login screen :/.

how come?

If your account is inactive for a long term, it gets 'deactivated'/'deleted'.

Just Another one who is declared Public Enemy by the Authority, for expressing his thinkings without harming anybody.Who cares to stand in a community if you cannot express your feelings, your thinking anyway.

Lots of accounts have already been deleted in RS1.7 due to preparations for RS2.0, in which we will have a complete database reset. I suggest you to wait for RS2.0 or If you want to play on RS1.7, just create new account for now.

Will my previous account be restored in 2.0? Because i dont want to redo passport and driving tests :/.

As IV:MP CMB Director I can say that it would be difficult to find a list of the people who had already a passport before the deletion.. Therefore I'd say yes for passports. SSDS should have a registry and if it comes out you have a driving license you will automatically have a passport, since you needed one to get the license..

Although it wouldn't be easy, if a list doesn't get made in time, it could theoretically be possible for Managers to "look up" users in the old database to see if they have a passport+license or not, worst case scenario.

I do agree, though, that it might be a pain to figure out who has what still.

+ Many people (especially who joins rarely) will change the name and maybe don't even remember their old account..

Simply not possible.
Very true. In the future, maybe it would be a good idea to assign unique ID's to users in the database so future resets don't cause this issue. That way looking it up would be very simple...assuming the unique ID doesn't get changed.
