1. It is difficult for Russians to learn English the way to chat (fast talking/typing)...
2. There are a lot of potential players, that could rise community more and more...
3. It needs Cyrillic for the server to be used by players...

If any Russians will to help, they can join that group, where we will discuss plans, problems and ideas... Anyway, Russian server will go under Argonath RPG flags, it means the close connection with the main International portal... After some time those people will join the main server as well (I am sure)...

For study Russian... I do not think its a good idea to register in Russian network OK (OdnoKlassniki) cos its a lil difficult... But if you feel you can handle it - no problems, will help to learn new words... :)

Just for reference, I noticed that the site is very compatible with Google Chrome's built-in translator from Google Translate, so users having trouble should have little issue registering with that on. It made it a breeze for me. So far the only issue I'm having is getting my activation code to my phone, because it's not sending it for some reason or another, which is preventing me from joining the group. Overall, despite not being a Russian speaker, I find the site very easy to use. It was a great choice RON. :)

I've heard that Rosetta Stone's products are some of the best out there for picking up a new language at any age. I would personally recommend that based on friends' testimonies of it, but I've never used it myself.

Learn in your car is a great audio companion.  :)

Its a coincidence I had been wanting to learn Russian too, guess I'll start that after learning French.  :roll:

Only done the Dutch one, and it was nice and easy - very quick to pick up and you start forming sentences in your mind which are almost always right.

Toxic has used the Spanish one, so I'm sure he can say something about that. Will check out the site.

Nice to see Argonath spreading in this way...as there will not be a huge amount of players moving from the main International server, it shouldn't have a negative effect on play!

Shame it isn't French...I'm thinking of learning it!

What makes me afraid is that there are a high amount russian players and they might flow Argonath, but as far as I know, Argonath is an international server. This means if you put this russian server into consideration, you'll need to manage TWO communities. This means Argonath x2. And before we know it, the main server becomes the russian one instead of the international one...

You might not understand a shit of what I'm talking about, but I do not have a good feelings of this being a good idea.

Am going to try the Arabic one.

Hope this project will work out, I have my doubts though.
