Yes, the cabin they showed earlier and the one they are showing on fire appears to be different. The first cabin had one larger one to the left, and one to the right. With a large clearing near the structures. What i am seeing atm is a single structure in a heavily wooded area.

It was likely a mistake they made since the video they had was no longer live.

Sounds of ammunition exploding in the fire has been heard.

A statement is being given. They are confirming the cabin on fire with the suspect inside. Deputy confirmed dead, other one confirmed in surgery and going to be okay. They confirmed a second time that the suspect is, indeed, inside the cabin. They have not yet confirmed themselves, but they do believe the suspect is the ex-cop.

Edit: FBI and U.S. Marshals are on-scene.

I heard it from the CBS Live feed. Reporter on scene stating the cabin is fully involved and he doesn't believe anyone could survive. He heard 1 gun shot after teargas was thrown into cabin. FD on scene but no acting due to uncertainty.  They have speculation that there's a minor chance he may have escaped to some sort of horse barn or enclosure. Not believed he did.
Edit: I'm seeing multiple law enforcement vehicles coming down.
Edit: Well, it appears it will be awhile before they confirm if he's inside. I'm going to shy away from all the coverage.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said they believe the suspect is him, but is not confirmed. They also stated they know for sure he is "inside" the cabin, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Edit: There has been a body found in the charred remains of the cabin. It has yet to be identified, but police have a strong belief that it is the ex-cop.

Edit #2: The Los Angeles City Mayor just confirmed the body found inside was the ex-cop. The situation is now over.

I just heard from the news on the same channel that a body was confirmed found, but was not officially identified, unlike the previous "confirmed" report of it being the ex-cop.

These people really need to get their crap together and report the correct information. Even official sources are feeding the wrong stuff to the public.

So, the fire was purposely set by the police hoping he'd run out and they could all shoot him dead.. Honestly they had like 100 cops, SWAT, FBI, even the army and they still couldn't get the job done within police regulations.

To be honest you would do all the can if you had the opportunity to catch someone who is one of the most wanted men in America providing that you knew it was him only inside.
