Ping higher on VCMP than on MTA

When i play on the MTAVC server my ping is only around 380 but when i go on VCMP it can get to 1000, averaging above 450. Why is there so much lag on teh VCMP server for meh?

i have a 1000+ ping in mta and a 50 ping in vcmp, very strange though. well, normally in vcmp is less lag then in mta, but maybe you have a very strange problem like i have with mta

My ping is the same on VC:MP as it is MTA which is around 100 more depending if am Downloading, msn or browsing internet. Maybe it's got something to do where the Server is Hosted?

MTA: ping like 50 but lags couse of slow computer

when i didnt had the MTA lag, my ping was around 50, same as VCMP, but vcmp just has less lag. if you have 200 in vcmp, then it'll cause the same lag as about 50 in mta, i think

Are any other Aussie players have this same problem as me, higher ping in VCMP than in MTAVC?

mine is 350 - 390 on MTA...

The good ol 335 on VCMP

Maybe it's because i'm in WA, most of the AU players I know are from eastern states. Actually come to think of it, i dont know of any WA players other than me

Posted on: October 27, 2007, 03:27:52 PMOk after another check I found out somonething strange. When I check from Server list on MTA console and VCMP console, my ping is 375 on VCMP and ~390 on MTA but when I actually play my ping is ~425 on VCMP but only ~390 on MTA

sometimes my ping is higher on VC:MP, but thats cause VC:MP send much more data to your pc, press f5 or ones of the funtion buttons it gives you detailed info on the data send received.
VC:MP still lags less then MTA
