I started with www.argonathrpg.com and searched on every page - I never found ANY topic that says anything about "server downtime".  It's not easy to locate topics about this without digging and digging, which makes most youngsters give up since a lot of them have short attention spans.  Maybe if administration would put a dedicated link somewhere on the MAIN page that says "Server Downtime News" - it might make it easier for everyone to find out what's going on with the servers, since outages are now a frequently-occurring issue.

As long as I can remember I've had trouble locating info about server downtime, and usually I end up digging and digging until I *accidentally* find a post about something else where someone mentions something about Argo being down or posts a new IP.  I've read messages from *many* players talking about how they wouldn't have even known about the temporary IP addresses if it hadn't been for them accidentally stumbling upon them by clicking on a random post.

It is an entire board that is visible from the main forum. Although I agree that it's location is not well-suited for it's usage, it is there, and is visible. The problem is that many people don't take the time to look, because often they don't feel the need to search beforehand. For those that do, it can be an honest mistake...but 99% of the time it's just people being lazy. The same goes for most other stickied topics and specific boards for certain situations, and it's not just a problem our forum has. It occurs all across the internet. :P
