rom M*A*S*H the movie, to M*A*S*H the TV show, from James Bond fighting rogue  North Koreans, to high school kids fighting North Korean invaders, it seems that the Korean war of the 1950s never ended.

In fact, the way things are going, that whole red-dawn thing may not be too far from wrong. North Korea’s Li’l Kim and the Beastly Boyz say they’re calling off the 1953 cease-fire agreement that ended the three-year war between the north and the south.

Around 36,000 Americans and more than a half-a-million Chinese died in what the United Nations euphemistically called a ‘police action.’

Over the weekend, the US and South Korea started regular joint military exercises that the North Koreans see as an ‘open declaration of war.’

The South Koreans made a couple of calls on the hotline to talk about it, but they say no one answered.

And now, diplomats are wondering if that cold call will turn into a hot war.

Looks pretty idiotic to me. It's just another North Korea's attempt to show they've got balls, because they've got none. As soon as they do something to South Korea or US, their part of peninsula would be sinked. I guess even them commies are clever enough to understand that.

This cannot be good...

I hope things don't get bad. Millions of innocent people don't need to be put at risk. I know Rory is also stationed over there, and I'm sure we have a few other military members on this forum who would be put at risk from a potential war.

They have enough money to fund nukes but not enough to have a phone with voicemail...

As it was said, North Korea is years away from being able to fit a nuclear warhead on a missile and accurately fire it, let alone have an actual nuclear arsenal, the most they could do is start a war with the south, but they'd get their asses kicked by every single nation around ^^ All in all, They've been fucking irritating, and if things manage to stay out of developing into a thermonuclear war, then I wouldn't be agaisnt an invasion of North Korea.
