I would like to welcome you to the Argonath RPG Oscars 2012 nomination topic!It's been a few years since this event has been organized in Argonath RPG, but a few weeks ago we decided to make this great event return!
A lot has happened in the last year - we have made new friends, but we've also lost a few. It has been a nice year for many of us. If it hasn't, let this year be a peaceful and joyful year for all of us!
New administrators have been selected, and some have left the team. We have seen a few interesting bans and a few accidental bans. It has been a year which could be called an enlightenment for a few of us in Argonath, but also in real life. We have been given a few new servers, like the
Flight Simulator X server lead by Janek and the
LU server lead by SugarD.
The Argonath Oscars 2012 nomination topic will have a few very clear regulations. You have to face the consequences on your own if you are not able to comply with them.
General rules:- It’s prohibited to argue, complain and moan about the nominations. This is not permitted in any server, nor it is on the forum.
- It’s prohibited to nag at anyone about the nominations. This is not permitted in any server, nor it is on the forum.
- It’s prohibited to nag at anyone of the administration about the nominations. If you have any complaints or questions regarding this event, you have to use the appropriate mail that has been created for this event.
- It’s prohibited to create any fake accounts in order to increase your votes.
Failing to comply with these rules will result in a temporary ban of 60 minutes in-game (serious cases permanent ban) or a forum mute of 15 days (new players excluded) and will get you disqualified.
Voting rules:- You can only give one vote for each individual at a category . You can only give one vote for each individual at a category (ex. You can’t vote Paul for best police driver and shooter, but you can for best police driver and most polite admin. Only one of them. This will make be heavily enforced.)
- You are not allowed vote yourself.
- You are not allowed to vote on persons of your own family or gang. Other groups are allowed!
- You may not vote a person who has been banned in the past 30 days or is currently banned.
- You can only vote at servers you have been playing on the past year. This will be verified!
- You are not able to modify your posts. So make sure you have voted at the right persons.
Failing to comply with these rules will result in votes being disqualified.
Please note: We reserve the right to disqualify votes without notice or reason, and to forbid you to vote in certain circumstances.
As you can see the rules are stricter than the past years. We have noticed a few problems in past years with this event. In order to avoid these problems there are a few new rules.
